Light In Your Darkest Hour

Posted by on May 3, 2010

There are times in life when many feel blacked out in darkness and despair. Confusion, guilt, loss, pain… the list goes on of the factors that contribute to discouragement, failure and sometimes even suicide.

Gays, bi-sexuals, homosexuals and other gender disoriented individuals have been oppressed by the church for decades. Pastors who lack understanding and direction cast off these individuals seemingly as a lost cause. The pain of rejection and the lack of Christ’s loving, open arms reflected in His ignorant disciples is interrupted as being a disposable soul.

This leads to the vast array of individuals developing their own truth to live by, in order to survive in a cruel world.  If you are one of these lost and wandering souls, consider the difficulty in understanding something you are not. Have compassion and love for those who do not understand you. Pray for them. Don’t let Satan twist God’s truth. He is divisive. He is an impostor. He wants nothing more than to discourage and pin you against God and His messengers.   God is very much at work on this earth. In your battle with self, He is waking up Christians everywhere who have been at a loss at knowing how to minister to you.

Light continues to shine brightly!  “I have come into the world as light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.” John 12:46   Open His word and let His light shine on you. All the answers are right there in His letter to you.  “Make every effort to give yourself to God as the kind of person He will approve. Be a worker who is not ashamed and who uses the true teaching in the right way. ” 2 Timothy 2:15 (New Century Version)

There is great strength and power in the Lord. Turn your life over to Him and surrender your thoughts and desires to Him continuously. Abide in Him and He will abide in you.  God loves you dearly and will not hold truth from you.

As you pray for light, pray that others, church members and leaders, will also receive light and learn to share the love of God that He abundantly bestows upon ALL sinners.  We must all strive to be sensitive and understanding of one another. We are a sick world in need of huge amounts of  healing.

May God continue to bless and inspire all those who seek to do His will.
